Amazing win yesterday for the 2nd XI. It was difficult to stop the flow of runs on a very fast outfield and some how the KH opener edged his way to a century but tight bowling at the end by Jack probably meant that we kept them down by 30 or 40 more runs. Batting wise it was a phenomenal start by Simon and Will (admittedly aided by some “interesting” bowling). When they were dismissed Sree took up the mantle with some great power hitting while being very ably assisted by Luke B and Josh before Krish waited patiently to complete our run chase with 9 overs to spare. Massive shoutout to Simon for keeping very well (1st time he’s kept in 10 years), Martin S, Paul B and Martin T for umpiring and it was great to see Moggy and Neil coming up to support as well.
